Career Success Team
What do we do?
Every undergraduate student has a designated career success team to work with throughout their undergraduate years at É«½äÖ±²¥. We coach students in the following areas:
- Identify strengths, interests, and values through various career assessments
- Choose or change majors
- Develop résumés, cover letters, and other professional documents
- Prepare for interviews
- Connect with alumni
- Find internships/externships, job opportunities, and graduate schools
- Navigate the Career Readiness Digital Badging Program
- Assist with applying for graduate school

How do I meet with a member of my career success team?
Current students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with a member of their career success team through Handshake. This platform provides an easy way to connect with your team, ensuring that you receive personalized guidance and support for your career planning and job search strategies. with a member of your career success team.
How often will students meet with a member of their career success team?
Ideally, students will meet with a member of their career success team at least twice per semester. However, there’s no set requirement for the minimum or maximum number of times a student can meet with their team.
How will students learn about their career success team and how to schedule a meeting?
During the summer, students will be directed to complete a career assessment—an online resource to help guide students in developing the eight National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) career competencies and skill sets that employers look for in a recently graduated college student. Once a student has completed the career assessment, a member of their career success team will review the results with the student in their initial appointment.
